CTE Information

Career and Technical Education (CTE)
Students interested in attending BOCES may do so in their junior and senior year. At BOCES students will have the ability to gain graduation credit in math and science while studying a technical program of their choice.  Students are introduced to these programs in their eighth and tenth grade years.

College Application Process

POPULAR APPLICATIONS

THE COMMON APPLICATION: Using the Common App may simplify the college admission process by saving time and eliminating duplicating effort. Once completed online, copies of the application may be sent to any of over 750 participating schools.  Common App

SUNY: Students applying to any 4 year NYS Public College/University. SUNY

Individual College/University: Often students will go to college/university admission’s website to determine their preferred mode of application process.

SUNY JCC College Connections

Here at Hinsdale, students in grades 11th and 12th have the opportunity to earn college credits through SUNY JCC College Connections.  We offer several distance learning opportunities as well as instruct two SUNY JCC English courses for our seniors.  Please follow the link below to find more information regarding the College Connections Program.

If you have just moved into the district, then welcome!  If you have a student who you wish to enroll in Hinsdale School, please give me a call at 716-557-2227, ext. 421 for High School and 419 for Elementary so that we can set up an appointment to go over the required paperwork and documentation.
