I’m excited to bring my passion for reading and writing to HCS—both with interesting texts and clubs! I look forward to leading HCS’s students in thinking critically about their world around them. I’m stoked about the idea of leading a Young Writers Club or a Readers Theater Club at Hinsdale, giving students extracurricular outlets to be creative with language!
I love how lines, squiggles and dots combine to make letters. I love how letters have unique individual sounds. I love how those sounds combine together to make words. And finally, those words combine to make sentences that can elevate a reader’s understanding of themselves and their world, encapsulating snippets of life in paper and binding to make people laugh, smirk, or cry. I can't wait to explore fascinating and thought-provoking worlds through literature with the students at Hinsdale! Not only do I love to read and write but I also sing, play piano and percussion, snowmobile, fish, hunt, jetski, and I am venturing into the tasty world of cooking!
